David Kenealy
Chief Workforce Training Officer
David Kenealy is the Chief Workforce Training Officer for the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center. ProductWorks is a division of the SVHEC. As Chief Workforce Training Officer, Mr. Kenealy oversees SVHEC’s ProductWorks division, Workforce Training, and the Career Tech Academy.
Mr. Kenealy brings an impressive set of comprehensive experiences to his position including work in higher education program development, and experiences within industry including serving as Plant Manager for Highland House Furniture, based in Mandawa, India and Director of Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Sample-Making for Maitland-Smith, Inc., based in Cebu, Philippines.
Mr. Kenealy holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education and Technology with Teaching Certification from Appalachian State University.
Brad Overby
ProductWorks Director
Brad Overby serves as the Director of ProductWorks. As director, Mr. Overby manages the department’s budget, staff, and equipment, and oversees day-to-day operations. He works closely with clients to understand their needs and to translate their vision into tangible products. Mr. Overby has an extensive background in advanced manufacturing with specialities in CAD/CAM/CNC operations.
